As one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing cities, Brampton faces the continual challenge of maintaining an expanding transportation network while balancing long-term infrastructure investments. With thousands of lane kilometers requiring strategic planning, the City needed more than a pavement condition survey—it needed actionable intelligence to guide future capital decisions.
Our team delivered a comprehensive pavement condition assessment and developed a data-driven Pavement Management Program that transformed raw field data into strategic investment recommendations. Using GIS-centric analysis and advanced deterioration modeling, we evaluated network performance, identified the most cost-effective rehabilitation strategies, and produced multi-year Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs) designed to maximize the return on every infrastructure dollar.
By integrating the results into the SAMS Asset Management platform, City staff gained an intuitive, interactive environment for visualizing pavement conditions, prioritizing projects, evaluating funding scenarios, and making confident, evidence-based decisions. The result is a modern, sustainable roadmap that empowers Brampton to preserve its transportation infrastructure while planning intelligently for future growth.
